बचपन में तौफों का बडा उल्हास
छोटासा तोहफ़ा भी लगता खास;
आज वही बचपन खुद्द एक तोहफ़ा और आस !
ऎसा एक तोहफ़ा मैंने एकबार पाया
लाल मिट्टी का गोलमटोलसा वह मुझे खूब भाया;
कहते थे गुल्लक उसे, जिसमे मैने मिला हर एक सिक्का छुपाया |
त्योहार हो ,जन्मदिन हो या फिर किसी रिश्तेदार की भेट
किसी दिन ममी -पापा उसेमे चुपकेसे डाल देते एक हरा नोट;
मेरे गुल्लकजी छोटेसे मुह से भरते अपना पेट|
महिनों गुल्लक में पैसे जोडना
हाथों में धर उसकी छन छन सुनना;
जब भर जाए तब क्या करेंगे इसके सपने बुनना |
किताब ,फ्रॉक या साईकल – घर आ जाती
जमाना था वो, जब चंद सिक्को मे कई खुशियां और ढेंरो यादें मिल जाती;
ऐसी यादें जो सालों बाद भी चमक कर कविता बन जाती |
मेरा प्यारा गुल्लक मेरी इच्छा पुरी करने खुद्द मिंट जाता
नये रूप में फिर आयेगा ये वादा दे जाता;
साल भर साथ रहकर एक गेहरी बात सीखां जाता |
अपनी खुशियां खुद चुन सकती हूँ …
दिलसे चाहु तो हर सपना पुरा कर सकती हूँ …
वक्त लगे सही पर जो मेरा हैं उसे जरूर पा सकती हूँ …
आज भी वो नहीं, वैसा नहीं – पर एक गुल्लक है मेरे पास
सिक्कों से नही पर यादों ,पलों और सपनों से भरती हू उसे खास;
कभी तो इससे कुछ निकाल कर बाट लू किसीसे तो हंस देता दिल उदास |
इस गुल्लक एक बात न्यारी है …
जितना निकालो ये उतना भर जाता, कितना भी भरलो इसमे फिरभी जगह बाकी है;
उम्र भर के लिए अब ये गुल्लक काफी हैं |

This is another masterpiece. You have very special Gullak with you and you know how to extract मनe from it. Keep filling (Gullak) and spending.

Ahha! What memories yaar Amruta. Ekdum Diwali yaad aa gayi jab diye ke saath nayi gullak aati thi. Beautiful poem and lovely memories!
I have a cylinder shaped gullak even today that my brother- in- law got me few years back.
